Multi agency training The Rochdale Borough Safeguarding Children Board (RBSCB) provides a safeguarding children training programme for statutory, private and voluntary agencies in the Rochdale Borough. Route of safeguarding training
Step 1 Basic Induction to Safeguarding Children (via own agency training)
Target audience - all staff and volunteers coming into contact with children and families including adults who are parents or carers.
Step 2 Working Together to Safeguard children(2 days)
Target audience - those who work regularly with children, young people and their families/adults who are parents and carers. Those with particular responsibility for safeguarding children (eg, designated officers, managers, police, social workers, mental health and learning disability staff, probation officers, senior staff etc
Step 3 Specialised training exploring specific issues
Target audience - those with particular responsibility for safeguarding children, eg police, social workers, mental health and learning disability staff, probation officers, education staff and all staff involved in the specific areas of practice.
