What is the Expert Trail?
In a nutshell, it is a Continuous Professional Development and Performance Management framework for Teaching and Support Staff designed by the Wallis Partnership Ltd. So who runs the Expert Trail?

And where do the REAL Trust fit in?
The REAL Trust has an agreement with The Wallis Partnership which allows us to deliver the Expert Trail to subscribing Schools, and support them in implementing it, and getting the best out of it. All our subscribing Schools are eligible for this service.

The REAL Trust facilitates Expert Trail Cluster Meetings for Schools signed up to it across the Borough, once a term. This is an opportunity to share and disseminate best practice, knowledge and ideas; as well as a chance to network. Who has already signed up?
A huge number of Schools across the Borough- Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special- have implemented the Expert Trail in-school and now use it as a performance management and staff development tool.
