New Secondary Bespoke Service

As part of this new development each of our Secondary Schools and Todmorden High school have been visited to share their priorities for development. This has included discussion as to how the Real Trust can tailor our support to schools individual needs and calendar of CPD meetings. Schools identified 4 priorities:

  • Leadership
  • Succession Planning
  • 14 - 19 Curriculum Support
  • School Self Evaluation

Schools have generously outlined the best practice they are prepared to share. As part of the Leadership programe we have invited Professor John West Burnham on 12th September 2007 at Bellavista Ristorante to give an overview of the management issues regarding 14-19 and ECM Agenda. John West-Burnham is a well-respected and experienced teacher, writer and consultant in educational leadership. He is a senior visiting research fellow at the Centre for Educational Leadership, University of Manchester and senior research adviser at the National College for School Leadership.   (book your place)
