Raising awareness and early identification for Developmental Language Disorder for ECTs (Face to Face)
- In an average classroom of 30, 2 children have Developmental Language Disorder (DLD)
This course will cover:
- An introduction to the RANS Talk to Learn team
- What is DLD?
- DLD and Speech sound disorders
- Support for early identification of DLD
- Strategies to use in the classroom
- DLD and what this looks like
The course will be led by the 3 specialist teachers from the RANs Talk to Learn Team who have all previously worked in main stream primary schools and as SENCOs who all have a passion for raising awareness of DLD and making a difference in children’s lives.
