Grammar for Primary ECTs
- The course will cover the teaching of grammar as included in the National Curriculum.
It will also include ideas for engaging children that can be taken back to the classroom and how grammar skills can be applied into writing and other aspects of the curriculum. Grammar vocabulary and understanding of this will also be included to support teacher knowledge.

Esther Logue and Elizabeth Teague
Elizabeth Teague (External Consultant)
Elizabeth has many years teaching and management experience in Rochdale Primary schools. She was also a leading literacy teacher within the authority. Elizabeth then became a Teaching and Learning Consultant for Rochdale LEA. She is now an independent Teaching and Learning Consultant specialising in English CPD for KS1 and KS2 teachers.
Esther Logue (Teaching and Learning Advisor, RBC)
Esther has significant experience of teaching across KS2 within Rochdale. Current roles include Headteacher in Calderdale, Operational Moderation manager for KS2 writing and Teaching and Learning Consultant specialising in English. Esther also has many years experience working for the STA, DfE and NFER on KS2 English Assessment.
