Visit Leader Training
- Hands on risk management whilst on educational visits away from your school site
A full day training for teachers and school staff, covering the essentials for planning educational visits. Great for NQTs. The training includes theory and practical sessions using a local learning environment. Plus a beginners demonstration of the Evolve website. We aim to help develop knowledge, understanding and practical group management skills.
Hands on training looking at risk management include;
*crossing roads with large groups of children
*interaction with water margins
The majority of the day will be outside, so staff should come be prepared for that.
They normally cover some ground on foot so staff should be aware they need to bring suitable footwear – walking boot or wellies are probably the ideal.
Deleagtes also need to bring lunch which can be eaten outside, a good idea to have a small rucksack for drinks and extra layers.
