An Introduction to Clicker 7 - Session 1 of 2
- Session 1 - Supporting Recording
- Attendees will need to participate in both half-day training sessions
Session One: Supporting recording – 20th November 2018, 20th November 2018, 1-4pm
Session Two: Using Clicker to support curriculum access – 3rd December 2018, 1-4pm
Workshop: 22nd January 2019 1-4pm
Clicker is produced by Crick Software and has been helping pupils to achieve success for 10 years. Clicker 7 can be used in a variety of ways to support pupils of all ages and abilities, particularly those with additional needs.
Rochdale Additional Needs Service (RANS) is a Clicker Centre and as such can offer training to schools in the use of the software. Clicker 7 has many additional features in comparison with Clicker 6.
With an emphasis on using Clicker with pupils with additional needs, this session aims to provide participants with hands-on training in the variety of ways in which the program can be adapted and used. Participants will also have opportunities to explore the range of add-on programs that can be employed with Clicker and to learn how to use resources from the Internet to extend the program further.

Please note there is an additional workshop in the afternoon to create resources, and spend time getting to know Clicker 7 with staff available to answer questions. If you wish to attend, please book a place.
Attendees must have a basic competence in the use of computers to attend this course.
