Day 1 - 9th June
Day 2 - 11th June
Team Teach is an accredited course. It will cover understanding behaviour and focus on de escalation.
It will include physical techniques that may be needed to keep children safe. There will be low level holds and more secure holding for high level dysregulation situations.
It will also include recording of incidents and policy around balance of risks and best interests.
Maximum 2 places per school
There will be a charge of £80 per person, REAL Trust are heavily subsidising the rest of the costs

Day 1 - 8th June- 6 hrs online learning (this must be completed before attending Day 2)
Day 2 - 9th June - face to face practical session at The Highwood Centre, Norden
This course combines the 12-hour Paediatric First Aid qualification with the 6-hour Emergency First Aid at Work, enabling you to achieve two nationally recognised qualifications in one day (plus online learning), rather than attending separate courses.
Designed specifically for those working in education and childcare settings, this course equips you with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to respond effectively to emergencies involving adults, children, and infants.
You will complete a 6-hour online learning module at your own pace prior to attending a 6-hour face-to-face practical session, where you will apply your skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

This session is ideal for educators looking to make their classrooms more accessible, inclusive, and tech-enabled—without needing specialist equipment or complex interventions.

This is an ideal short course to support the progression of the design process for the D&T curriculum. Course content will include:
· How to ensure your curriculum provides opportunities for children to be confident risk takers
· How to support children to engage in the iterative process to generate many innovative and ambitious designs for solutions to solve problems (and not get stuck on their first idea)
· Practical hands on experiences using 2D and 3D CAD software

It equips school staff with the skills, confidence, and legal understanding required to support challenging behaviour safely, proactively, and effectively — reducing disruption, risk, exclusions, and the need for restrictive practice.

The session will provide the opportunity to discuss assessing individual children’s reading skills to identify strengths and barriers to strengthening their reading skills.
