SEN London Leadership Conference

• This conference is aimed at SENCos, School Governors, Head teachers and Senior Leaders

This is a morning session with lunch provided, followed by the opportunity to carry on individual or cluster discussions and planning in the afternoon. Bacon sandwiches served from 9am

In response to the joint Ofsted/CQC inspection of SEND, the local authority has been working with the London Leadership Strategy to implement a borough wide peer review model to support improvements in the provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and improve outcomes and to enable school to school support. 

• Examples of best practice whole school approaches for supporting pupils with SEND will be shared

• The whole school SEND evaluation tool will be introduced

• Findings from the initial pilot SEND reviews will be shared

• Colleagues will be supported in identifying evidence to support school self- evaluation in this area
