It will help you to build your personal robustness as a leader so that you can tackle challenges in a more effective manner, leaving you with more time and less "busy-head" time to do the job you want to do which is lead your school & make a difference.
Many Rochdale schools have children and young people who require assistance to move or equipment to facilitate personal care, mobility or postural management.
This course will look at relevant Moving and Handling legislation and guidelines relating to safe moving and handling for staff who are undertaking these tasks with pupils.
N.B. This training is not about Positive Handling for CYP with behavioural difficulties.
