The Rochdale Secondary MFL Subject Network is a well-established and successful one in which group in which Middle Leaders work collaboratively to focus on key aspects of Curriculum, Assessment and Culture.
We are currently working on the assessment of writing and speaking at GCSE, and we are planning for delivery of the new GCSE specification and the impact this will have on KS3 as well as KS4 Languages.
Through the Network we arrange for exams to be offered in Community and Home Languages to students in schools across the borough.
Within the group there is a wide range of expertise on different aspects of MFL Teaching and Learning.
