Paediatric First Aid & Emergency First Aid at Work (12-Hour Blended Course)

  • This course combines the 12-hour Paediatric First Aid qualification with the 6-hour Emergency First Aid at Work, enabling you to achieve two nationally recognised qualifications in one day (plus online learning), rather than attending separate courses.
  • Designed specifically for those working in education and childcare settings, this course equips you with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to respond effectively to emergencies involving adults, children, and infants.
  • You will complete a 6-hour online learning module at your own pace prior to attending a 6-hour face-to-face practical session, where you will apply your skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.
  • The link for the online learning module will be sent in good time prior to the practical session

Upon successful completion, you will be awarded:

  • 12-hour Paediatric First Aid (PFA)
  • 6-hour Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

The Paediatric First Aid qualification meets the requirements of Ofsted and the DfE Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework, making it suitable for school and early years settings.

The Emergency First Aid at Work qualification meets HSE standards, providing essential skills to respond safely and effectively to workplace emergencies in line with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
