Prevent for Schools – A Practical Guide to Deliver Prevent in Schools for NQTs and New Staff - CANCELLED

Keeping children safe from the risks of extremism and radicalisation is a safeguarding matter and should be approached in the same way as safeguarding children from other risks.

The aim of the training session will be to:-

Raise awareness of the prevent duty and empower staff to better understand their roles and responsibilities
Play a key role in identifying any concerns at an early stage
Learn how to make any referrals to the Channel panel
Understand how the Channel Panel works
Guide other staff through this process
Know what resources are available for curriculum delivery
