  • Ideas about what you want from the Rochdale collaborative.

 

Meeting agenda:

  1. Welcome presentation about the rationale and purpose of the collaborative.
  2. Discussion point: What do you want to gain from working in a collaborative? How can the collaborative help you achieve the objectives for your History department? What are your priorities which can help plan the focus of the collaborative over the rest of the academic year?
  3. Development point: Key Stage 3 curriculum intent and implementation.
  • Where are we along the path towards a clear intent statement?
  • How can this be seen within schemes of learning?
  • Is there clarity about the knowledge expected from students?
  • Are we planning for depth, breadth and ambition?
  • What can be done to improve KS2-3 transition?
  1. Development point: Information about resource sharing, the drop box.
  2. Good practice take-away: At every meeting a department or two can have an opportunity to share something of good practice which other attendees can take away. Holy Family will lead on this during the first meeting:
  • Clarity around planning for knowledge at KS3.
  • KS3 target stickers.
