An Introduction to Clicker 6

  • Provide participants with hands-on training in the variety of ways in which the program can be adapted and used.
  • Participants will also have opportunities to explore the range of add-on programs that can be employed with Clicker and to learn how to use resources from the Internet to extend the program further.

Course AimsClicker is produced by Crick Software and has been helping pupils to achieve success for 10 years. Clicker 6 can be used in a variety of ways to support pupils of all ages and abilities, particularly those with additional needs. Rochdale Additional Needs Service (RANS) is a Clicker Centre and as such can offer training to schools in the use of the software. 

With an emphasis on using Clicker with pupils with additional needs, this course aims to provide participants with hands-on training in the variety of ways in which the program can be adapted and used. Participants will also have opportunities to explore the range of add-on programs that can be employed with Clicker and to learn how to use resources from the Internet to extend the program further.

N.B. TO GET THE MOST FROM THIS COURSE, IT IS VITAL THAT PARTICIPANTS ARE CONFIDENT/COMPETENT IN THE BASIC USE OF COMPUTERS.
