This course will help you to look at the leadership challenges you face and the impact these have both on yourself and the people that you lead (both in and out of school).
This course will help you to build your personal robustness as a leader so that you can tackle these challenges in a more effective manner leaving you with more real time and less "busy-head" time to do the job you want to do which is lead your school and
We will explore how your brain works (in a fun way!), and provide you with a memorable metaphor which you can use to coach yourself and others so that external pressures have a less damaging effect on your overall well-being.
We will explore our ‘performance resilience’ model and the skills you can use to promote this within yourself and others.
With a focus on assessment the course will develop a clear understanding of progression in writing across a unit of work, across a year group and across a key stage
We will look at standardised assessment and moderation materials at KS1 and KS2 and analyse progression to expected national standards.

ELSA trained staff are working with some of the most vulnerable and sometimes challenging young people in our schools.
It is essential that ELSAs continue to receive specialised professional support that enables them to reflect on the quality and appropriateness of the assistance they are offering.
