GTRSB (Gypsy, Traveller, Roma, Showmen and Boaters’) Pledge for Schools Workshop

This workshop is an opportunity to explore the GTRSB Pledge for Schools.
The session will focus on strengthening inclusion, belonging and accountability by signing the Pledge.
It will also provide cultural insight and practical ideas for how schools can use the GTRSB Pledge for Schools effectively.

Lauren Hazell - Travellers’ Achievement Officer, School Improvement Team, Rochdale Borough Council & Juice Vamosi – Romani academic, interpreter and founder of KaskoSan Charitable Organisation

Juice Vamosi will deliver part of this workshop. Juice is an academic in Romani studies and has Romani heritage. He is an interpreter in many dialects of Romanes and is the founder of KaskoSan, a charitable organisation based in Oldham, supporting Gypsy, Roma and Traveller families to access education, healthcare and housing
