Everyday Materials & Rocks
- This session will focus on the National Curriculum science content requirements for rocks. It will highlight links to previous topics and common misconceptions.
- There is so much content in everyday materials that a short session would be insufficient to cover it in enough detail across all year groups.
- Therefore everyday materials in Year 5 would not be covered in this session.

David Snelling, STEM Learning PDL
David is a Year 4 teacher at Blackpool Gateway Academy and has been a key stage 2 teacher for 6 years. He has completed my NPQLT and currently tackling my NPQSL. He is the science lead in his school and the Trust's Primary Science QIG Lead which means he leads termly collaboration meetings and new initiatives with all science leads across the trust.
