Developing Communication and Play Skills in Young Children with ASC

  • The course will consider how the difficulties associated with ASC can have a significant impact on communication and play development in young children.

Play and communication skills are essential prerequisite skills for a child’s learning, physical and social development.

We will look at how early years and primary practitioners can support the development of these essential skills through adapting the environment and resources and also through adapting their own communication and teaching styles.
