Introductory Training for TAs - Day 3 of 4 - NOW HALF DAY SESSION

  • This is a four day Introductory Training course for Teaching Assistants who are new to the role, however it is also very useful for those Teaching Assistants who have some experience but have not received any specific training.

The course aims to ensure that new teaching assistants receive the essential underpinning information in order to provide effective support. Specialist colleagues from both within and outside the Local Authority all input into the training to ensure relevance, quality and consistency. The course content also has clear links to the National Occupational Standards for Supporting Teaching & Learning at level 2 and is linked to the Qualifications & Credit Framework (QCF 2010) Qualifications for Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools (STaLiS).
