Primary Maths Subject Leader Meeting
- Join teachers and mathematics leaders from across Rochdale and the REAL Trust to collaborate, share effective practice and explore current developments in mathematics education.
- These network meetings provide opportunities to reflect on classroom practice, discuss current priorities and learn alongside colleagues.
Participants will:
- Explore current research and developments in primary mathematics.
- Share effective practice and learn from colleagues across schools.
- Reflect on school priorities and identify next steps for improvement.
- Develop practical strategies that support high-quality mathematics teaching.
- Build professional networks to support continued collaboration.

Lisa Leach (Independent Maths Consultant)
I have been in education for over 25 years, as a class teacher, maths lead, and senior leader roles across the primary age range. During this time, I have also held the position of Maths Consultant for Rochdale LA, been the Project Lead for an Education Endowment Foundation project across 11 schools, led a Maths Strategic School Improvement project across 2 local authorities and been a lead trainer, and now a National Development Lead for Every Child Counts (Edge Hill University). I work closely with Turing NW Maths Hub as their Local Leader for Maths Education and have completed their Professional Development and School Leader accreditations. I am also involved in the NPQML. I work with Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and pupils - striving to make a difference for all children, sharing my enthusiasm and passion for maths.
