Teaching Assistants Development Programme - 6/6 - Questioning
- This development programme specifically designed for Teaching Assistants will run throughout the year and consist of 6 sessions. TA’s can attend all or a selection of these sessions.
- This final session of the TA Development Programme focuses on the art of effective questioning.
- TAs will explore how to use open, probing questions to assess understanding, stimulate critical thinking, and guide pupils toward finding their own answers.
- This evidence-based session will transform interactions from simply “giving the answer” to deeply facilitating the learning process.
- The session will also explore the Blanks level model of questioning to support pupils with language developmental delay.
