Teaching Assistants Development Programme - 1/6 - Behaviour

This development programme specifically designed for Teaching Assistants will run throughout the year and consist of 6 sessions. TA’s can attend all or a selection of these sessions.
This practical session forms part of our TA Development Programme, focusing on evidence-based strategies for managing and understanding behaviour in the classroom.
Teaching Assistants will explore behaviour as communication, the ‘Iceberg’ model of underlying needs, and practical de-escalation techniques.
The session provides useable resources, including ABC charts and self-reflection tools, to empower TAs to confidently support pupils and promote positive learning environments.
