When a serious incident occurs during an educational visit, senior leaders and emergency contacts are often required to make high-pressure decisions quickly, confidently, and with limited information.
This course is designed to prepare leadership teams for those moments.
Drawing on lessons learned from real incidents; this practical and scenario-based training supports schools and establishments in strengthening their emergency response procedures and improving confidence in managing visit-related emergencies.

This event, hosted by a D&T consultant with extensive experience, intends to meet the needs and expectations of both newly appointed and experienced D&T subject leaders.
It will include updates on professional development opportunities, current initiatives and collaborative time to network with colleagues to enable the sharing of hints, tips and recommended resources.

Subject leaders will visit different schools to look at good practice and ways of working. The learning environment will be looked at as well as the promotion of English.
The host school will organise the timetable at the school.

The NPQ SEN explores the concept that pupils who need a tailored approach to support their behaviour do not necessarily have SEND, whilst some pupils with SEND will not necessarily need additional support with their behaviour.
This course explores top tips for spotting the difference and still adapting appropriately to what behaviour is communicating in any given scenario.
