ELKLAN courses are designed to help support the communication skills of all children and young people - as well as those with identified speech, language and communication needs.
The training will consist of 10 half day sessions delivered by accredited teaching and learning advisers. Please see the attached for an overview of the sessions.
Each person taking the course will need to have the Elklan Language Builders 5-11s book to support their learning https://www.elklan.co.uk/resources/language-builders-series/language-builders. The LA will provide one book per school.
Schools can fund their member of staff to be accredited at a cost of £72.50 per learner. Accredited staff will have weekly tasks to complete with a learning log that will need marking. The marking will be £90 per learning log, in total £162.50 per learner
